Author Guidelines

 

IIJAS Journal Publication Guidelines

 

Publication Requirements:

 

  1. The researcher should format the research according to the journal template available on the website and in accordance with the publication conditions mentioned below.
  2. The researcher should submit the formatted research in a Microsoft Word document (.doc or .docx) exclusively through the journal's website (https://iijas.eventsgate.org/iijas/about/submissions). If this is the first time submitting a research to the journal, registration is required first, followed by uploading the research (https://iijas.eventsgate.org/iijas/user/register).
  3. The research must be written in correct language, with attention to formatting, graphics, and tables numbered as shown in the journal template.
  4. The research should fall within the scope of the journal and should not be plagiarized from a book, thesis, or dissertation. The research will undergo plagiarism checking by the journal upon submission.
  5. The research should be original and significant in the field of specialization.
  6. The research should not be less than four pages or exceed twenty pages.
  7. The research should not have been previously submitted or published in another journal, and the researcher must declare this.
  8. The research should be written in clear and coherent language, with coherence between the title, introduction, objectives, discussions, results, and references.
  9. Research articles are accepted in both Arabic and English languages.
  10. The journal does not allow withdrawal of research articles after acceptance under any circumstances.
  11. The journal will notify the researcher of receiving the research within a maximum of three days. The evaluation process will take about fifteen days from the date of receiving the research by the reviewers. After receiving feedback, the researcher should address the comments and resubmit the research within a maximum of ten days. Then, the researcher will receive an acceptance letter specifying the publication date.
  12. In case of disagreement among the reviewers, a third reviewer will be appointed to arbitrate.
  13. The researcher should make the necessary revisions and submit the revised research to the email address mentioned above.
  14. The researcher will receive a final acceptance letter after making the revisions and approval for publication from the reviewers and editorial board.

  16. Copyright for the publication and dissemination of the research will transfer to the journal after notifying the author of the acceptance.
  17. Upon publication, the researcher will be sent a link to the complete issue for downloading the research.

 

Instructions for Authors:

 

Authors should follow the following steps in preparing their research:

 

  1. The author should write the title of the research, academic title, and the researcher's name, affiliation, and email address (font size and type specified in the publication template).
  2. The researcher should write the title of the research, the researcher's name and academic title, affiliation, abstract, and keywords in both Arabic and English languages in the researcher's account on the journal's platform and in a separate file uploaded with the research. If the research is written in Arabic, the list of sources should be uploaded in a separate file written in Arabic.
  3. The research should be written with single spacing, with a minimum of four pages and a maximum of twenty pages.
  4. Fonts should be bold for the main title and subheadings only, with regular font for the rest of the text. The font color should be black automatically for all paragraphs without using underlining or strange symbols.
  5. The subheading should be written on a separate line without any punctuation marks and numbered as shown in the publication template. The research abstract should not be less than 150 words or exceed 250 words.
  6. Use consistent numbering (1., 2., 3.) throughout the research.
  7. Use consistent tables without colors or shading, with a title for each table or figure exactly matching the examples provided in the publication template.
  8. There should be an indented space at the beginning of paragraphs by 0.26". All paragraphs should be aligned except for the abstract, using alignment formatting.
  9. If the research is in Arabic, the same steps and template should be followed, with the text direction from right to left.
  10. The research abstract should be provided in both Arabic and English languages as mentioned above, ensuring that the word count does not exceed 150 words or fall below 250 words. Keywords should not exceed 5 words, and the abstract should cover its four elements: problem, objectives, methodology, and results.

 Research Elements:

  1. 1. The author is requested to adhere to the publication template in writing their research.
  2. 2. The study abstract as mentioned above.
  3. 3. Introduction, including: (Study system: whether it is analytical, descriptive, statistical, etc. - Research problem - Research hypotheses - Research objectives - Research significance - Research limitations - Research plan).
  4. 4. Previous studies (according to the nature of the research).
  5. 5. Research methodology and methods.
  6. 6. Results.
  7. 7. Discussion.
  8. 8. Conclusion.
  9. 9. Acknowledgments (if any).
  10. 10. Sources and references.
  11. 11. Appendices (if any).
  12. 12. Documenting sources and references in a single list at the end of the research, alphabetically arranged by the last name of the author.
  13. 13. Arabic references should be written in English (Roman letters).

 

Writing and organizing references:

 

  1. Writing in the APA style, which stands for the documentation system issued by the American Psychological Association. For more information, see (https://apastyle.apa.org/).
  2. The main references are books and international journals. All references should be to the most relevant sources, preferably from journals in Scopus. References should be written in APA style, with at least 12 references to current relevant published research.
  3. The DOI identifier for the source must be mentioned at the end of each source.
  4. Sources are not numbered at the end of the research in any form of numbering, but are arranged alphabetically and written in regular font, not bold, according to APA style.
  5. The first line of each reference is without an indent, and if the reference spans multiple lines, the following lines are indented.
  6. Only the author's full name is written, starting with the last name, as written in the research text, followed by the first name and then the middle name.
  7. Arabic sources are not written in Arabic letters but are written in Roman letters. The editor is provided with a list of Arabic sources written in Arabic in the same sequence and order as written in the English source list.
  8. The use of footnotes or margins is prohibited, and otherwise, the research will be rejected.
  9. If it is not possible to write the edition date, it is written as (D.T).
  10. For Arabic sources, either the Gregorian or Hijri date is written, with the "AD" removed from the Gregorian date, and "H" retained in the Hijri date.
  11. Edition numbers are not written for Arabic sources if it is the first edition (Ṭ. 1), except otherwise, it is mentioned as follows: (Ṭ. 2), (Ṭ. 3), and so on.
  12. Pay attention to the correct placement of periods, commas, and spaces following the APA style.
  13. Use the following letters in Roman numerals exclusively in the table:
